To sit and gaze at a living tapestry of a coral reef in your own home is a truly rewarding and educational experience. Keeping a reef tank is however a big responsibility. A micro environment containing live corals, crustacea and fish all relying on you to sustain them. Thankfully with recent advances in the understanding of how a natural reef works and the correct equipment reef tanks can thrive. Corals show spectacular rates of growth and fish exhibit natural spawning behaviour.This is a picture of our first reef tank containing some 150 gallons of sea water.
