Finally we leave our Galaxy and take a look at the


                                                                         many other galaxies distributed across the vastness

                                                                         of space.












































































 The Great Andromeda Galaxy  (M31) and our nearest galactic neighbour is visible to the naked eye despite being some two and a half billion light years away.  Imaging brings out the

 best in this  object with many dust lanes and satellite clusters present.  M33 or the Triangulum Galaxy (opposite) is also one of our neighbourhood group of galaxies and offers a more
